WHAT IS
CAMP FINCAYRA
Camp Fincayra is a year-round respirate centre and summer camp, situated on roughly 100 acres of land and approximately 1 1/2 hours from Toronto. Camp Fincayra’s mandate is to help children, youth and adults with ASD and other neurological disorders find a way to belong. From Sam the dancing barista to the Non-verbal Autism Bar Mitzvah MC, Camp Fincayra has worked it’s magic and
allowing the world to see its campers full potential.

The Pre Work It Out session will focus on job training in skilled positions (carpentry, agriculture, culinary arts & applied arts)

The augmentative communication program iCan Talk 2 will have an emphasis on utilizing different communicative apps to teach language expression and development through an assistive device.

Pre Work It Out
Pre Work it out program is designed to teach job trade skills to youth with ASD, Fragile X and other neurological disorders that will lay a foundation for future employment
iCan Talk 2
iTalk 2 is an augmentative communication program designed by Howard Dalal to teach young individuals methods and techniques to enhance their communication skills via iPad apps

Our full week and weekend respite programs are designed to provide the best possible care for your child and allow them to thrive in an outdoor camping environment
